# User settings

Use user settings to manage your own Mabyduck account.

To access user settings:

1. Select your account initials in the Mabyduck navigation.
2. Select the settings area you want to manage.


## Account tab

Update your:

- name.
- email address.
- country.
- organization name.


Changing your email address marks the account as unverified and sends a new
verification code.

## Security tab

Change your Mabyduck password. If your account does not have a password yet, set
one here.

## 2FA tab

Mabyduck supports:

- security keys.
- authenticator apps.
- backup codes.


If you remove your only 2FA device, Mabyduck disables 2FA and deletes your
backup codes.

## Identities tab

Mabyduck supports:

- GitHub.
- Google.


If a provider is your only sign-in method, set a password before disconnecting
it.

## Verification tab

This tab appears only when your email address is not verified.

## Deletion tab

Use Deletion to close your account. This is permanent.

## Logout

Use Logout to end your current Mabyduck session.
